Make Your First 100K
with Freelancing

THIS COURSE IS STILL IN THE CREATION PHASE BUT HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE LEARNING AND WHY THIS COURSE IS SO IMPORTANT

Want a Thriving Freelancing Business?

If you’re thinking about starting up your own freelancing business or if you’ve been freelancing for a while but your career hasn’t really taken off yet, this is a great place to start!

In addition to owning my own design business and running The Student Architect online space, I’ve been freelancing for over 5 years. Over those 5 years, I’ve learned so much that I can’t wait to share with you.

Can’t I learn this all on my own?

Sure, you could spend the next 5 years learning everything gradually as I did. You can make the same mistakes, course correct over and over, and try new things, but why would you want to?

Why drudge through the learning process over the next few years when you can learn everything you need to know through this course in a fraction of the time.

I want to make one thing clear, though—this is not a get-rich-quick scheme. I’m not guaranteeing that you will make 100K in a week, a month, or even a year.

This course will teach you how to gradually and authentically grow your freelancing business so you can build trust and provide value to your clients. In return, you can get autonomy over your life and how you want to live it while working with your dream clients.

what will I be learning?

In this course, we'll go step-by-step through the entire process, all the way from setting up your profile to completing your first project.

A shortlist of topics we'll cover are:

  • Building your profile

  • Sorting out clients (looking for red flags)

  • Interviewing

  • Staying organized

  • Finances

Lesson Outline

Module 6: Interviews

Interviews are a crucial part of building your freelancing business where you can stand out from your competition and choose which direction you want your business to go in.

Module 7: Staying Organized

Juggling multiple projects with multiple clients can be overwhelming and lead to problems if not addressed. Here, I’ll give you all of my organizational tips.

Module 8: After Completing a Project

Finishing a project doesn’t mean that the work is over. There are a few helpful things you can do to help your business’s reputation and also help you grow.

Module 9: Maintaining Client Relationships

It’s important to maintain relationships with clients you enjoy working with and for long-term clients, you may need to consider renegotiating your terms.

Module 10: Finances

Finances are often overlooked, but understanding taxes, accounting, tracking expenses, etc. can make or break your business.

Module 1: Find a Platform

Choose a freelancing platform to promote yourself on. This is optional but highly recommended and I’ll cover many reasons why.

Module 2: Build Your Profile

Build your profile with your picture, introduction, experience, portfolio, etc. Adding information about yourself helps to humanize you and helps potential clients decide if you’re a good fit for them.

Module 3: Find Your Rate

This is an area many people struggle with. Here, I’ll give you a few different options for how to figure out the right rate for you.

Module 4: Find Your Edge
